On Betula branch?
Margot en Geert Vullings, 21-03-2023 09:37
On the same betula branch as of the Trimmatostroma we saw very small black fungi, about 1 mm.

We do not find what this could be?

Thanks in advance.

Re : On Betula branch?
That was also our thought, we looked at approved sightings and saw asci  narrower than we see and the spores more pointed. On your site it fits wel, thanks a lot Enrique.

Re : On Betula branch?
I think it would be good if the fruiting body is really a tyriothecium. Maybe a very shallow horizontal section would help you.

Re : On Betula branch?
My apologies, but I cannot find on the internet what tyriothecium is. I have very little knowledge of Ascomycetes. What should i see? Like on your site the first picture at the bottom?
