Buenas tardes, Os envío fotos de este ascomicete, recolectado sobre un tronco muerto y decorticado de planifolio, cerca de Tregurà (Pirineos catalanes) el pasado 15/10.
Apotecios 0,5-0,8 x 0,4-0,6 cm.
Esporas 19,9 - 25,4 x 5,4-6 µm.
Asca de 173 x 10 micras. También he medido otra que alcanzaba los 13,3 µm de ancho. Extremo apical amiloide.
Pienso en Ascocoryne cylichnium, con esporas no maduras del todo...

Hello
the spores are mature, they were forcibly ejected from the asci in your preparation. Only when overmature they get septate and produce conidia.
Yes, this is A. cylichnium, easily recognized by the multiguttulate spores. But there is a sibling with the same characteristics, the only difference is in the ascus base (without croziers vs. with croziers in cylichnium). There appears to be no published name for the species without croziers.
