Bonjour à tous, Je recherche cette publication :
Light grey mould on bark close / ally with a polypore

I have found what looks to be a polypore species (identification still under progress) growing on the surface of the a horizontal bough (trunk) of Ceratonia siliqua. Close to it and perhaps assocaieted (anamorph?) there was a several colonies of a grey mould. I had difficulty to remove some intact specimens under the microscope, but here are some images that show the sporangiophore and the lemon-shaped spores.
Any information on species ID and if it is associated with the macrofungus will be greatly appreciated

It looks like a Botryobasidium anamorpth, at least to me, it does; I have not checked my memory against literature.

THANK YOU Simon
Yes you are on the right track after giving a quick research your suggestion. I need to study more whats happening here. The White 'polypore' is definitely a basidiomycete, I have also seen the spores (jelly been shaped, 4um long)
But then what is the grey mould - is it not an Ascomycete and hence not related ? But it is like that there is a common organism hence both the white stromata and the grey mould are the same species. Hmmm....
Thank you, you will keep me busy this evening! wel ldone.
