Bonjour à tous, Je recherche cette publication :
Pinkish disc on soil under eucalyptus
Zuidland Peter,

Found today in a eucalyptus bushland in SE Victoria, Australia.
Any ideas welcomed.
Asci are MLZ negative and have pronounced forked bases. 175 x 14.4um
Spores with one or two oil drops are encased in a reticulate mesh; 16.1-17.3 x 9.1-10.1um
Filiform paraphyces with some branching at the apex.
Many thanks
Pete

Hi Peter
You could check the type of Boubovia but you need to color the spores to see ornamentation.

Bonjour,
d'accord avec Mirek, les éléments présentés me rappellent Pseudoboubovia benkertii.

Re : Pinkish disc on soil under eucalyptus
In my opinion, it is not a Boubovia, Pulvinula or Pseudoboubovia species, as the genera are currently understood. Also, to my knowledge, the find does not resemble any species known from these genera. Sequencing should be considered in order to clarify the genus relationship. Best, Uwe

Re : Pinkish disc on soil under eucalyptus
Thank you for the replies, for some reason I only got them today.
I did try with LPCB until I ran out of sample to see the ornamentation but I didn't get good results; I will go back and get more to see if I can get better images.
I will try to find info on the species mentioned, otherwise another oddity from the land down under.
Cheers
Pete
