Seiridium sp?
Marc Detollenaere, 22-11-2021 22:28
Marc DetollenaereSaturday, while examining the pileipellis of a Pluteus found in the coastal dunes of Belgium, I noticed a fusiform conidium, slightly curved, 44x17µ, 5-septate, bearing 2 long appendages of 20-44µ.No leads using E&E and Seifert.
In Coelomycetous anamorphs with appendage-bearing conidia of Nag Raj Seiridium was close but didn't match completely. Any ideas?

Re : Seiridium sp?
Hi Marc,

did you consider that these are possibly not appendages but germ tubes?

Regards

Re : Seiridium sp?
Sorry, I have no idea. Is this the single spore/conidium you observed?
