This Scutellinia was on rotting wood in the drain off of a beaver dam. The spores are 21 - 10.5 with amoebic warts. The hairs are mostly 600 but a few were up to 900 and they had complex roots. Although this is leading to S cejpii the ornamentation is nothing like my previous finds and also not like those illustrated by Benat. I tried heating the spores and the outer surface became detatched.Â
I can find nothing that fits with these features. Can anyone suggest what it might be.
