Can anyone help with an image of the spores of this species?  Microfungi on Misc. tells me that the spores are ellipsoid or fusiform.   Does anyone know this entity, Certainly, substrate and muriform nature of spores would suggest that is what I have, but the spores are a  1 micron longer than the dimensions given by Ellis & Ellis and certainly more rounded at one end than the other,. Note that there are three other similar taxa that have been described: Pleospora haploziae Racov., P. lophoziae Racov. and P. hepaticola Watson. Molecular data from many collections from different hosts will be needed to understand this mess...
