Bonjour à tous
Sur une branchette morte, tombée au sol, (ans doute d'un sous arbrisseau non identifié)
de nombreuses apothécies étroitement allongées et disposées selon l'axe longitudinal de la tige. Ces apothécies initialement encore fermées (cf la sécheresse) s'ouvrent suivant un sillon longitudinal, laissant apparaitre un disque gris jaunatre. (cf les 3 premières photos)
Au microscope les asques apparaissent clavés à apex conique pouvant atteindre 160 x 14 - 15 µm et sont octosporés. Les spores sont filiformes, obtuses à une extrémité et en pointe à l'autre (jusqu'à 85 x 2 µm.
Les paraphyses sont étroitement élancées et à sommet contourné voire spiralé
Après avoir consulté les bases de données sur ascofrance , j'ai trouvé que la fiche d'Enrique Rubio Dominguez avait beaucoup de similitudes avec mes observations.*
C'est la raison pour laquelle je pense avoir identifié Sporomega degenerans.

You are right, this is S. degenerans as I have it in my folder, and the substrate should be an Ericaceae.
I now see that I had to do with the genus Sporomega when I wrote the Syllabus. Because there is uncertainty whether this old name refers to a species with filiform spores are with short ellipsoid spores, I asked Paul Cannon about it. He gave me a detailed answer, and the essential passage reads:
"In modern times the name has been used consistently for a Colpoma-like fungus with filiform spores (see also Lantz et al. Mycologia, 103(1), 2011, pp. 57–74), and these authors suggest that Sporomega might well be subsumed into Colpoma. This interpretation seems to have originated with Saccardo. As there is no guarantee that Corda and Fries had the same fungus, I suppose the mystery must remain until the species is epitypified."
