Could this be dried fruitbodies of Ascobolus albidus?
Found on horse dung in Uppsala, Sweden. Spores 24-30 x 12-14.
Fruitbodies very small, around 0,2 mm, in large numbers and mostly violet but sometimes like thin, pale "sticks".

Hola Karl: Tu recolecta cuadra bien con esta especie. El tamaño esporal y ornamentación son adecuadas para la misma. He encontrado varías veces formas con esas coloraciones marrón-púrpura. Están descritos varios tipos de coloraciones además de la blanca-hialina que es la más frecuente. Ahí te pongo algunas fotos de recolectas de distintas coloraciones, para que compares. I have also thought about A. roseopurpurascens. Some say that it is only found on deer dung. In the keys I have checked the width of the asci seem to be a separating character, but different sources show different information... Do you know any good sources for separating the two?

Roseopurpuracens can be found on substrates other than deer droppings. I think the presence of purple pigment in the exipulum and at the top of the paraphyses is a good trait, as well as the well marked margin on the apothecia.
