This looks interesting but do you also have photos in water? I would like to see the living paraphyses. A section of the excipulum would also be helpful, it does not perfectly look like textura globulosa.

So the living paraphyses do not contain refractive vacuoles. The substrate is not really clear to me. Could it be that there were catkins of a Salicaceae or Betulaceae? The characters would fit Ciboria caucus or amentacea.

Hello Zotto,
I found the fungus under Hippophae and at first sight it was fixed on an old blackened branch of it.( see picture). But 10 meters further there were some Alnus glutinosa . So probably it grows on an old catkin and it is Ciboria amentacea as you suggested.
