Ascas 43--46 x 8

Re : Diaphorte ??
Hallo Rafael,
To some extent it looks similar to D. eres s.l., in spitespore appendages are not visible. Biguttulate spores, slightly constricted at septa.
Pseudostromatic tissues could help in assuming Diaporthe genus. But long beaks Gnomonia is also possible, if there is a species reported on similar hosts.
We know as of 2008 molecular studies are crucial for species/genera indentification.
Regards,
Dimitar

Re : Diaphorte ??
Gracias Stoykov

Re : Diaphorte ??
In Wehmeyer (1933) there is a variety of D. pardalota on Cirsium stems, but with conic and shorter beaks, but after mentioning of 3-septate spores suggests your record could be something new. Breviappendix has similar appearance of the beaks above host.

Dimitar
