Hello,I am having trouble identifying this coprophilous fungus. It was found on wild boar dung on May 21st.
The perithecia are dark brown to black, pear-shaped, about 480 × 400 µm, and covered with a whitish tomentum (rufous in some areas). The hyphae forming the external tomentum fragment into small cells measuring about 15 × 20 µm.
The spores are hyaline, ellipsoid, smooth, measuring 16–20 × 10–13 µm.
The asci are 8-spored, mostly arranged in a single row (sometimes in two rows), non-amyloid, approximately 190 × 18 µm.
Does anyone have an idea what this species could be?
