white hairy inoperculate
Viktorie Halasu, 03-06-2019 23:35
Viktorie HalasuHello forum,

I'm struggling to find correct genus for this inoperculate. Two kinds of hairs - 1. on margin and flanks they are cylindric to slighly clavate, incrusted, with VBs, and 2. thin short hooked hairs around the hymenium. Asci IKI+b, paraphyses cylindric with VBs, ectal excipulum seems to be t. porrecta. No spores yet, waiting for it to mature. On thin (ca. 2 mm) stem of a herb/grass lying in mud, lowland riparian forest.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Re : white hairy inoperculate
Dear Viktorie,

this looks like a normal Lachnum to me, these curved elements at the margin are just hymenial cels that still have to develop further. my expectations are that the hymenium sould become twice the diameter it is now at maturity.

Cheers,

Stip
