Hello,
today we searched for ascos in a wet mountain meadow with Filipendula, Dactylorhiza, Meum and Scirpus.
Besides Myriosclerotinia scirpicola and on Juncus Myriosclerotinia curreyana there was a small white substipitate hairy ascomycete on Scirpus leaves, very common there.
The lanceolate paraphyses and the not very differenciated hairs (in fact I couldn't really recognize them as "hairs") suggest the genus Psilachnum, though I didn't find the "Psilachnum-bubble" in the asci.
Psilachnum acutum looks similar, but the spores of our collection was far bigger, 8,2-10,6 x 1,8-2,3 µm, without oil content.
Asci 28-32 x 7-7,5 µm, with croziers, IKI bb 3
Do you have any suggestions?
thank you and best regards
I see several smaller bubbles in the asci, not very clear.
Zotto
The last photo I do not understand.
Pyrenopeziza is in Ploettnerulaceae.
