Found on woody trunk of an Asteraceous shrub (Isocoma menziesii)Fruitbodies somewhat angular in basal outline, with peaked/pointed tip.
Gregarious but not crowded or fused.

Looks more like a Lophiostoma to me. Definitely not a Lasiosphaeria.
