Yes zotto, they grow together, they were 10 cm apart from each other on Quercus.

Was the hyaline population more sheltered on the underside? Was it a log lying on the ground, with the yellow ones on the lateral side?

Hyaline population sheltered on the underside, yes. It is a log lying on the ground. But for the yellow ones on the lateral side, I do not remember.
