Pyreno with long spores.
Per Marstad, 10-03-2019 19:48
Per MarstadWe have  found this on deciduous wood, probably Fraxinus excelsior, in Norway.
Diameter 1 - 2 mm.
Asci with many spores.
Asci 54-75 x 15-20 my.Spores, hyaline, 15-20 x ca. 2 my.
We hope to get a name.

Re : Pyreno with long spores.

Try to give more informations, please.

For example, how is formed ascomata ? You can show a vertical section, it's not difficult, and it could bring informations.

And concerning asci, tell us if they are unitunicate or bitunicate ?

More informations you will give, easier you will have a name.

Re : Pyreno with long spores.

My idea was Ditopella ditopa.

But check if ascospores could be one-septate, if width is more than  2µm, if asci are unitunicate.

You can use red congo, useful with Diaporthales.

Re : Pyreno with long spores.
The spores are 15 - 20 x 3 - 4 my, oneseptate and unitunicate.
Then your name, Ditopella ditopa, should be accurate.
