On wood (was already dried when I examined). Spores tiny (4,5-5 x 2,5 ?m). Any help with ID would be appreciated.

Yes Thomas, I fully agree. But surely this comes from the tropics. A Cordieritidaceae, and perhaps a Cordierites.
When you put KOH 1-10% to a fragment of this fungus in water, then it might extract a red-brown stain to the medium.

The wood is of unknown origin as usual in the Tropics. The material came from Brazil and it was not collected by me. I'm going to check Cordieritidaceae and the reaction you mentioned. Thank you!
