Hello,
This was found on the perianths of the liverwort Lejeunea patens (Lejeuneaceae) on a sycamore tree (Acer) in Scotland. There is not much literature that is freely available but I did find this and the species seems to agree closely.

Ascomata orange, infecting perianths, <1mm wide. Asci somewhat sausage shaped with up to 8 ascospores, 57.20 x 7.80 random ascus measurement. Ascospores ellipsoidal, 1-septate, 7.80 x 4.16. Here stained in iodine.
Any comments would be appreciated as I am not certain this is the same as the Chilean species. The spores are slightly longer as are the asci, but I have no other paper to compare species at the moment.
Thanks,
G. R. L. Greiff
