A Pyrenopeziza on a Typha latifolia leaf,but which one?
François Bartholomeeusen, 10-06-2018 21:49
Dear forum members,

I suspect it is a Pyrenopeziza, but I fail to determine this fungi by species.
Could it be P. atrata or am I wrong?

The substrate is a Typha latifolia leaf
FRB: 0.66 mm
Asci: 45-65 x 8,3-6,2 µm; iki+ bb; croz +,
Paraphyse: 46,5-58 x 1,97-3,25 µm, filiform;
Spores: 5.87-9,53 x 2,16-3,11 µm; G: 7,25 x 2,7 µm; Q= 2.6; with LC at the poles

Best regards and thanks in advance,

François Bartholomeeusen

P. atrata on monocots might be unusual but the rather banal characters seem not  really different.
