Leaf Asco
Malcolm Greaves, 07-11-2017 17:41
Malcolm GreavesWhile examining the moss around a Geoglossum from moorland I spotted an unknown curled up leaf. It had a few small black "blisters" 1mm wide. These produced a gell like substance much like the ascos of Daldinia etc. This gell was actually just a mass of "boat" shaped spores which were 7.5-8.8 long x 1.8 wide. Can someone suggest a name?
Thanks
Mal
