Re : Helvella 1017
Hola Luis:
H. nigra no la conozco, pero H. atra tiene un aspecto (sobre todo el estípite) muy diferente a esta que presento, o eso creo yo.
Saludos y gracias por tu opinión

Re : Helvella 1017
Dear Mr. Sánchez,
there is quite a difference between H. atra ss. Fries, Holmskjold or Dissing, and H. atra ss. orig., which should be something close to H. lacunosa, with ribbed stipe. The (wrongly?) well-known H. atra is to be called H. fallax now. See the new monography of genus Helvella, link is here: http://ascofrance.fr/search_forum/50484

Re : Helvella 1017
Dear Viktorie:
Thank you very much for your opinion, with the keys of the work I approach Helvella alpestris, but without any security.

For me this looks like H. lacunosa.

Re : Helvella 1017
Sorry, I have been too cryptical. The "normal" determination of specimens like these was, of course, Helvella lacunosa in a broad meaning.
After the monograph cited above, I am not able anymore to identify any collection like this (and I'm not sure that a monograph should give this effect).
What I'm sure of, is that the name H. atra is NOT to be used for a species in this clade, because it is specifically forbidden by the Code, art. 57.1.
And this topic shows perfectly why 57.1 was written: to avoid confusion.
Regards
Mario
