Leptotrochila
Peter Wilberforce, 21-09-2016 16:01
Please, does anyone know of a species of Leptotrochila that occurs on living leaces of Geranium robertianum, collected in SE England.?
Help gratefully received.
Peter

The collector, Kerry Robinson. has now sent me a photo, also the location is not correct: it was collected from SW England, in the Forest of Dean

Re : Leptotrochila
Hello Peter
must have missed this one. I suspect it could well be undescribed. There is a Pseudopeziza geranii Rodway (described from Tasmania, so . . . . . ). Perhaps it may be the perfect state of Gloeosporium geranii S?vul. & Negru http://www.indexfungorum.org/names/NamesRecord.asp?RecordID=297878

best I can suggest
Chris
