Re : Sur Pinus

Hi Elisabeth

your find seems to have a lot in common with Gorgoniceps aridula - but the fully black apothecia don`t fit. But maybe it is a hint for further inquiry. Were the apothecia completely dried out?

Regards from Lothar

Re : Sur Pinus
Hi Lothar & Elisabeth

difficult to say. The spores are too broad to fall to G. aridula/viridula. Are the paraphyses apically branched? That seems to occur rather rarely in Gorgoniceps.

Good would be to take a look at the excipulum, in section or in surface view.

Re : Sur Pinus

Habe ansonsten keine Idee.  Meine Datenbankabfrage ergibt folgendes. Was bleibt???

Re : Sur Pinus
