Patrice TANCHAUDBonsoir, récolte sur sol sablonneux dans l'arriÃ
I would like your help to identify this ascomycete, growing on the wood of a dead oak, with the following features:
Ascoma roundish, brown, with dimensions of 300-400 um in diameter;
Asci cylindrical to slightly clavate with dimension up to 125 x 14 um, but in general smaller, (6-)8-spored;
Spores hialine, 3-septate, with dimensions:
(14.2) 16 - 20.3 (21) x (3.7) 4.6 - 7.8 (8) um
Q = (2.3) 2.5 - 3.8 (4.1) ; N = 20; Me = 17.7 x 6 um ; Qe = 3.
All parts Lugol negative.
I attach some photos of the specimen and of the microscopy.
The specimen was found in Serra de São Mamede, (center-east of) Portugal.
Thanks in advance,
zaca

In fact, I found many similar material in this forum, namely post from
Lothar Krieglsteiner, Luc Bailly,Maren Kamke, Marja Pennanen, Nina Filippova and others.
I also saw your webpage
https://www.cubbyusercontent.com/pl/Exarmidium/_581525577608441c8e2d0bbc708715d2#Exarmidium
At the first sight my specimens can be of the species Exarmidium diaphanum (= E. inclusum) or something very close.
Many Thanks and Best Regards,
zaca
