Hello everybody, on decayed hardwood e.g. Quercus
Bonjour à tous,Voici un Scutellinia récolté sur chemin forestier humide. Je pense à Scutellinia barlae.
a) poils à base simple, bruns, septés, à parois épaisses : longueur maximale 900 mu
b) paraphyses à pigment orange, élargies à l'extrémité
c) spores globuleuses à verrues arrondies-tronquées : diamètre 17-19 sans l'ornementation (verrues hautes de 1-1,5 mu)
Qu'en pensez-vous ?
It looks good except for the hairs. In S barlae they should be a maximum of 300. Benat (and Neven?) are in the process of publishing a new species S heterosphaera which has longer hairs (to 870) but the warts on that species are short but a mixture of rounded, truncated and pointed. Your photos do not show exactly what the warts are in profile but I think that is the species you have.

A big thank you for your opinion!
I will check again the length of the hairs and try to better highlight the ornamentation of spores. But it does seem to have seen different types of warts as you explain it.
