Hyphomycete on dead Quercus leaf
Gernot Friebes,

this hyphomycete was found on a dead leaf of Quercus (probably Q. petraea). I actually feel like I have seen this fungus before but have never studied it in more detail. The conidia are quite variable in size but the ones with 3 septa I measured with 20,8-26,4 x 8,0-9,1 µm. Any suggestions are welcome!
Best wishes,
Gernot

Hallo Gernot
this looks like a Cladosporium; common secondary invaders on many substrates. See:

Re : Hyphomycete on dead Quercus leaf
I agree, a Cladosporium around C. macrocarpum. The "dome-shaped" scars are clearly visible in one of the pictures.
The final monograph was published by Konstanze Schubert and is available online as a more recent issue of Stud. Mycol.
Best regards Walter

Re : Hyphomycete on dead Quercus leaf
Thanks to both of you! I have checked the monographs on this genus and think that the species identification is a bit too difficult for me...
Best wishes,
Gernot
