Re : Hymenoscyphus ???
Hello Vasileios,
no Hymenoscyphus, may be a Cistella (cf. acuum ?).
Greetings
Peter.

Re : Hymenoscyphus ???
Also Hamatocanthoscypha rotundispora whould be a possibility, known from Cupressus. But that species has tapered and hooked hairs at the margin. You should try to find out the shape of the hairs.

Re : Hymenoscyphus ???
So the hairs are indeed pointed! But not curved apically. Hmmm, then I have no further idea. I did not expect a Hyaloscypha here.

Re : Hymenoscyphus ???
Here is the list of Hyaloscyphaceae from D.B. Belomesyatseva (2004), World survey of juniper-assiociated fungi, Mycena vol. 4, 1-127. which is maybe inspiring.

Re : Hymenoscyphus ???
Thanks, Martin. My database says that H. juniperi is a synonym of Hamatocanthoscypha laricionis, based on Holm's and Huhtinen's type study. So it must have curved hairs as well.....
