Scutellinia
Malcolm Greaves, 30-08-2013 19:20
Malcolm GreavesThis Scutellinia was clustered on rotten wood in a stream.
3mm across with hairs up to 500 and spores average 19 x 13
The ornamentaion, I think justifies individual warts which leads me to S subhirtella but I am not sure that often grows on wood.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Re : Scutellinia
Adio Mal,

S. subhirtella seems to be a bad hypothesis. Sporal ornementation is different.
Here, it's difficult to say because spores are not in 2 dimensions...
In this genus, I repeat that's necessary to have a sporogram with good dimensions.
Here, several species could be correspond with disponible data.
