Hi erverybody,I first thought this pyrenomycete was seated on an exidia. But I didn't find any structures of an basidiomycet.
This fungus has superficial? perithecia (0,2 mm) on wood, probably corylus. Setae black, pointed, 115-180 x 7-9 µm
Spores 1-septate, not constricted at the septum with a larger guttule in every cell, greybrown, (7-10) 8,27 x 3,5 (3-4) µm, Asci 60 x 4 µm, IKI negative.
Subiculum gelatinose, seperable, hypha up to 6 µm.
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Maren

Re : Pyreno on gelatinose subiculum
and it could be very interesting !
I think you should contact Andrew Miller, specialist of this genus.
He will be very happy, you'll see.

Hi Alain, hi everybody
do you have an email adress to Andrew Miller?
And could someone provide me with a key to Helminthosphaeria?
Thanks
