Inoperculate on Alnus cordata
Camporesi Erio, 04-09-2012 22:39
Hi to all,    did someone already collect an inoperculate like this one?

Apothecium up to 2,5  mm. diameter;
ascospores 8-9x3-4  micron;
asci up to 80x7  micron  ,   IKI +;
paraphyses 2-2,5 micron wide.

On dead and land cones of Alnus cordata; 3 collections in December 2011.

 I hope that these data and the photoes are enough to locate the taxon  .... (Ciboria ?)

    Ciao

Hi Erio

look in Breitenbach: ciboria_viridifusca B&K 148.jpg?

I do not know why they have so narrow spores, Dennis is right

It seems there are two different collections... No? The paraphyse with a big vacuole could represent a Calycina species (or it's an artefact).

Why do you think, Nicolas? I saw a refractive vacuole in my samples, so I do not doubt that shown by Erio

Re : Inoperculate on Alnus cordata
Hi Zotto and Nicolas,

  the big vacuoles are not in the majority of the paraphyses, but only in a few paraphyses.
