I try to learn at least one new black spot on a month. It seems, that I've been a bit lazy,
I collected some on Lupinus last month and looked them today.
They are about 0,2-0,3 mm wide.
Spores are a bit yellowish, about 45-58x4-5 and have 6 septas.
Asci are about 120-130x10-12.
The substrate and too big spores did not fit for L. maculans. Any fresh ideas?

Hi
L. maculans has 5 septated spores with no distinct enlarged cells. Your finding has 6 septations and the 3rd cell enlarged.
It is not L. maculans, I have read something about a species growing on Lupinus, I will look for it and write again later.

L. maculans was just the closes species I could find to this. I asked because I could not end up to a proper determination.
I can study one more to look for appendages. I did not notice such at the first time.

Your finding looks like Phaeosphaeria sowerbyi, but it does not fit macroscopically and it seems as if this species has vacuoles in each of the cells. I also do not think that this is a Phaeosphaeria. You should be right with Leptosphaeria.

the spores seems to have nothing extra besides septas and those vacuoles in each of the cells as Björn mentioned.
