cheilymenia?
Ismael Wind, 23-05-2012 00:57
Along side a sandy path these liitle ones. At first i thought they were octospora, But no, the spores were 15 * 11.25 and slightly "rugose"? And most importantly it had hairs.. Strange ones!  About 187 long mostly 2-3 segments at thickest 20um ending in a point. Parafyses ending in a knob about 12 thick. Al the specimens were infected? bij algae/mos? I'm thinking C fibrillosa?

Re : cheilymenia?
Adio Ismael,

In my mind, probably a specimen of "Scutellinia" sp. , perhaps in section Minutae or perhaps immature. ("nigrohirtula complex" is the biggest probability).

Hairs are typical, not of Cheilymenia genus.
If you can send me some apothecia (again ! :) ), I'll be very glad to study this for you.
