this summer I found another conspicuous anamorph, this time on a very wet, decorticated stem lying next to a strem (soc. Orbilia sarraziniana). At first I thought it might be a Hyaloscyphaceae or a cyphelloid Basidiomycete but then I saw the comparatively big conidia. I am thankful for every hint!
The conidia are 35-42 x 6-8 µm, hyaline, smooth, with 3-8 hardly visible septa. The hairs are 30-50 x 3-5 µm, hyaline, incrusted at whole lenght, slightly thick-walled and sometimes apically broadened.
Best wishes,
Gernot
