Here is a collection from Gilbert Moyne on rotten branch of deciduous tree. I thought I can find the genus and the species with these features, but I have currently no idea.
Apothecia white, pulvinate, small (less than 1 mm). I have see no hairs.
flesh is IKI + at the bottom.
asci IKI -, "umbonate", size on the following picture is 160x16 µm
spores full with many guttules (OCI 4 or 5), 55-60x4.5-5.5 µm
paraphyses clavate.
all of them look regringent in water.
Any idea?
cheers
François

Hi François,
this looks to me like Strossmayeria basitricha. I add a pdf of one of my finds.
Best regards
Martin

Salut François,
Quelle est la taille des apothécies ?
Les spores me font penser à Strossmayeria basitricha , je crois avoir posté une fiche déjà sur cette espèce dans Ascofrance.
Amitiés
Michel

Re:Helotiale sp.
thank you Mickael and merci Martin
your proposal fits well with my species. I was looking for "IKI +" in Zotto' s helotiales key, but for S. basitricha it is only written IKI/MLZ light blue so nothing matched the searched pattern.
