Malcolm GreavesI was asked to look at this Geoglossum for a colleague and not sure which species it is.
It produced 7 septate spores 60 - 82 Paraphyses with swollen heads and some also swollen elements lower down.
The best fit is G uliginosum but as it was already dried when i recieved it I cannot be sure whether it had a sticky stem. Thanks

Re : Geoglossum
Hello, In my opinion it's Geoglossum cookeanum.
What is the average width op the spores?
See microscopical photograph of the paraphyses of Geoglossum uliginosum
Kind regards
