Asco on Dactylis (grass)
William de Jong,

Today I found a very small asco a dead leave of the grass Dactylis glomerata.
8 spores per ascus. Ascospores: 1 septate, multigutulate; 9,6-12,2 x 2,1-2,6 µm.
Does anyone have an idea which species this could be?
Kind regards,
William

J'allais répondre :
" à voir du côté des Lasionectria, Lasionectriella, ou Ijuhya, Christian va te répondre..."
Je lisais un excellent papier paru dans Ascomycete.org 8 (2)!

Thanks a lot Christian and Alain!
If you have any advice on how to confirm the genus Lasionectrialla or even to identify the species, please let me know.

Hi William,
I am sending to your mail box the paper which Alain quoted
Lasionectriella, a new genus in the Bionectriaceae, with two new species from France and Spain, L. herbicola and L. rubioi
published in Ascomycete.org
Amitiés

Re : Asco on Dactylis (grass)
Dutch asco-expert Henk Lammers has looked at my material and by using the two articles by Christian Lechat, concluded that it is Lasionectriella herbicola.
