Many thanks for taking the time to comment. It surely looks similar. However on re-examining my specimen I could not find a rough stalk with hyphae. Also I seem to be missing the fuzzy yellow structure depicted in your photos. So maybe it could be some other species of Gracilistilbella? I attach a close photo of stalk.

Now that was just a guess and I lack experience with this genus. The find at that time was confirmed to me by Keith Seifert.
Of course, another species is also possible.
What does the KOH reaction look like with your finding ?
And do you know this work here:
