Joop van der LeeFound on horse dung. Fruitbody covered with short, septated, thick walled hairs expecially in the neck area (3.03-4.36 um). No asci information. Spores: 4-celled, 57.48-60.43x10.95-12.91 um, end cells conical, mid-cells barrel shaped. Germ slits oblique to diagonal.

Hi,

the only hairy species reaching over 50µm length in spore size is S. pilosa, as I know. AHMED&CAIN 1972 describe it with spores about 12-14µm broad, which shouldn't be a problem here.

Not common, but also not very rare.
I have nearly 20 gatherings from Germany.
