Reza ShaianDear FriendsDo you have PDF file of Dissing 1966 (
I do have one more "burden of the past" where I don't get to an identification and hope for your help.
Description: Apothecia dark, hymenial disc almost black, up to about 0.7 mm in diameter. Margin distinct, raised somewhat above hymenium. Margin and Excipulum brown. Hymenium very densely agglutinated, gelatinous. Brown epihymenial matter. Spores are 15-18 x 4-5 µm, brown, smooth(?), two-celled, somewhat thick-walled. Subhymenium brown. Excipulum with mostly globose to ellipsoid or sometimes nearly rectangular cells, mostly hyaline to somewhat brownish. Margin distinct in microscopic composition from Excipulum and Hymenium, very gelatinous, with very indistinct prolonged elements (see photo).
Substrate: Decorticated deciduous wood, most probably Alnus or Corylus
To me it resembles some lichens with its margin, but I recognize no thallus.
Any help is welcome
Stefan

Zotto

Zotto knows it very well and will be ok after iodine reaction, I suppose.
Alain
I can detect no evident blueing reaction of the asci. Even if squashed and also not after waiting for some minutes. I can try fresh IKI tomorrow evening, but as you said, Zotto it should also work with Melzer.
What other options are there?
Stefan

If yours is rather thin, please try directly in a drop of MLZ.
