Hello, I was given a Sowerbyella which, after examination, could be S. radiculata var. kewensis, but there are two problems:
* all collections I've read about were from broadleaved forests only, this is from a city, under Abies, Larix, Pseudotsuga, ?Picea, only much further away Betula and some other broadleaved tree, and
* not fully mature spores are losing perispore after slight heating in LACB, which wasn't (AFAIK) reported for Sowerbyellla yet.
What do you think? If I have it sequenced, does anyone have a reference collection to compare it to?

To my knowlegde, none of the types of S. radiculata species complex has been sequenced...
A new species of Sowerbyella will be soon published but it is microscopically very différent from your your collection.
