Hello to all!

Here is Mollisia/Pyrenopeziza on herbacious substrate, unfortunately I cannot say even the genus of the plant, but it is dicotyledonous.

KOH reaction negative. Hairs conspicuous, 30-40 um long, multicelled.  Asci 42-58*5,8-7,6 um, apical apparatus IKI BB. Spores with 0-2-3 small oil drops, 8.0-10.4*2,2-2,9 um, crociers absent.

With Gminder's key I've got M. adenostylis, what would you say?

With best wishes, Irina

Re : Mollisia adenostylis
Hi Irina

I  would not expect here simple-septate asci . Are you sure?

The strongly conical ascus apex suggests a Pyrenopeziza. The absence of elongate VBs in the living paraphyses would support this, if you saw such.

Besides, I have problems to draw a line to the common Pyrenopeziza atrata, as which I might have identified your find.
