Bonsoir à tous,Hier, j'ai trouvé dans une prairie marécageuse, à la base d'une tige pourrie de cirse des marais (Cirsium palustre) quelque chose qui ressemble à un Cudoniella mais les asques sont IKI+ donc je ne vois pas ce que c'est…
a) longueur pied : 5 mm
b) diamètre apothécie : 3,5-4 mmÂ
c) spores étroitement ellipsoïdes-subfusiformes, lisses, hyalines, sans guttules :  11,5-16x4,5-5,2
d) asque à crochet à la base, IKI+, à base fort dextrinoïdeÂ
e) excipiulum à textura intricata, avec parfois des guttules dans les hyphes

I also think it is Cudoniella clavus. On your DVD, I see that sometimes you indicate asques IKI + and other places IKI-
Here for my harvest, asci were IKI +

Such variation occurs, yes. Maybe C. clavus is heterogeneous, but we have so few DNA data on it that we cannot say. I found that Phaeohelotium epiphyllum is usually IKI+ but can also be IKI-, and I could support this by DNA.

Hi all,
in our distrikt is C. clavus a common fungus on wet places and many host plants, C. palustre too. On the fotos the hosts are Rubus, Filipendula, Alnus- and Quercus fruits.

I suppose you live in a region with acidic soil? In my area with more basic Keuper I never saw this species. But sometimes I saw C. tenuispora.

mainly we find the species here in South- Thuringia about acidic soil, but also now and then in the calcerous areas. Peculiarly is here C. tenuispora not to find, but also surely frequently about acidic soil.

For me hardly conceivable, that during an excursion the last weekend the biggest part of the participants C. clavus the first time has seen.
