Clé Cudoniella

Yannick MourguesBonsoir.

Je cherche une clé des Cudoniella. I'm looking for a key for Cudoniella genus.

Où puis-je trouver cela ? Where can I find it ?

Re:Clé Cudoniella
I am unaware of a key, and the genus needs to be redefined. There are only a few species in the genus so far which actually belong there, others (like C. buissonii or C. rubicunda) need to be excluded, and a lot of other species (presently mainly in Hymenoscyphus and Phaeohelotium) appear to be better placed in Cudoniella, to my knowledge.

In my Helotiales key, Cudoniella is filed within Hymenoscyphus, perhaps also in Bernard Declercq's key.

Re:Clé Cudoniella
I thus have to ask you about my last harvest:

I found them on branches all around and immersed in the fresh water of a torrent (with Vibrissea flavovirens).

Ascomes diamètre 8mm. Until 10mm stalked and excipulum covered by tiny multiseptate setae, 110X10um.

Spores 11,3-12,5X4-4,8 um Q=2,5-2,9 with 2-3 guttules at each sides.
Ascus 110-120X7-8 um, IKI-, croziers+ , spores biserriate.
Paraphyses freadlike, up to 3 um wide, septate , with many with refractive guttules.

Setae on the stipe / excipulum. Nothing on the margin.
