Re:HYPOGEOUS
I DONT NOW WHAT IS THIS. I BELIEVE IS Pachyphloeus sp. I am a Fireman, no mycologist. I am amateur. Also my english is bad. I like fungi and more hypogeus.
I found to Greece many hypogeus species.
Elaphomyces granulatus
Octavianina asterosperma
Hymenogaster buliardii
Gautieria othii
Gautieria graveolens var. graveolens
Tuber ferrugineum
Radiigera atrocleba cf.
Sclerogaster compactus
Tuber rufum f. lucidum
Reddellomyces donkii
Pachyphloeus ligericus cf.

Thanks and sorry bedevilment

Re:HYPOGEOUS
Have the spore walls a reticulate pattern? You must do photos of the same ones in cotton blue.
VASILEIOS KAOUNAS, 10-02-2008 12:31
Re:HYPOGEOUS
i use only water to microscopy. I dont have chemical neither cotton blue. My microscopy is simple, price 60 euro!!! I am amateur. To Greece i dont have help. The first phrase i dont understund.
Thank you for interest and sorry!!!

Re:HYPOGEOUS
wanted to make clear to you that it is very important to know if the spore walls have thornes, networks, or both things simultaneously.
Without it, it is impossible to give you an opinion

Re:HYPOGEOUS
I thank for the interest. Apology that you I do not understand, after I do not know English. The knowledge of mycology is few. The term thornes first time him I hear therefore do not know to you to describe the seeds. I stop here currently. Is what I want to know if I can to you post underground sample that it can I find certain other time? If yes in who address? and as we are far off.

If you wish it, you can send me dried material of yur fungus
Baglivo Arturo, 11-02-2008 07:12
Re:HYPOGEOUS
Grazie per le foto. Anche io penso che sia necessaria una analisi microscopica più approfondita.
Se ti avanza un pezzettino sono a tua disposizione .. come per qualsiasi fungo ipogeo
