Hypocrea cf. citrina
Christian Lechat, 18-09-2012 05:40
Christian LechatDear all,
as you saw in the database, Thierry Duchemin posted an item about Hypocrea citrina complex.
Here is Walter Jaklitsch's opinion (comm. pers.):
This is most probably the species that we just described as H. britdaniae. The respective paper can be downloaded here: http://www.mycologia.org/content/104/5/1213.full.pdf+html
Comment: Note the monomorphic ascospore cells (both cells globose). H. citrina has dimorphic ascospore cells and is found more or less on the ground, etc.

Regards,

Christian
